About HRLE: A.J. O’Connor Associates (AJO) formed the HR Leader Exchange (formerly the Senior Human Resource Advisory Board) in June 2008. The goal is to bring together senior Human Resource leaders from organizations in the Tri-state and surrounding areas (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and eastern Pennslyvania).

An online community was created in 2011 to share resources and provide a communications platform between meetings. The membership voted a new name in 2017 to better reflect the forum's objectives and the new name, HR Leader Exchange, became effective on January 1st, 2018, marking the ten year anniversary of the forum's creation. 

The HRLE has over 70 members, providing a unique forum for senior HR Leaders to network, share ideas and information and to discuss business challenges.

Meetings are held quarterly (8.00 - 10.00 a.m.) in one of three venues:

  • The Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ
  • AJO's Parsippany office. 
  • The corporate offices of HRLE members

Members possess an average of 20 years experience in human resources and currently oversee the human resources function for their organizations. Industries represented by our members include pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consumer goods, manufacturing, communications, retail, hospitality, chemicals, financial services and business information services.
