At the core of AJO's professional career transition program is individual consulting with an assigned Career Coach.
- Meetings can be conducted face-to-face, in-office and/or by phone and/or by video conferencing.
- The focus is on each participant's unique needs for his/her transition.
- Not only do we address short-term strategies for success in a competitive job market, but we also address ongoing career management.
Program Tools and Resources
Learning and online resources are available until a successful transition, regardless of the duration of a program. We offer a blended learning model which provides live webinars, in-office seminars, and AJO's My Career Navigator with its program roadmap to facilitate “just-in-time” learning.
Today's job market demands that we offer participants the flexibility to pursue opportunities that may be temporary or short-term in nature, allowing them to resume their programs if and when necessary. If a long search is inevitable, our goal is to support each individual during extended searches and ensure participant confidence levels remain high with ongoing support, especially during later program stages.
Our programs are designed with maximum flexibility in mind with adequate consultative time set aside for exclusive use in one-on-one coach meetings. This is frequently cited as the most valuable aspect of our services.
