Andrew J. O’Connor III
President

Andy O’Connor has led the growth of AJO's Human Resource consulting practice. As the second generation leader of the organization, he has built upon the strong foundation, reputation and long term relationships while expanding its service offerings. A pioneer in executive coaching, Andy built the practice into a recognizable brand within the industry. Under his leadership, the firm has been recognized with such notable achievements as the Quality of Excellence Award for creativity from the Association of Career Firms International and Spherion’s Legendary Service Award.

Previously, Andy served with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office. His experience also includes positions with Continental Insurance Company and Paine Webber.

Andy is a member of the Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Center for Human Resources Studies, a a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, a board member for the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and a board member of the Association of Career Firms International. He is also past chairman of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce “Career Forum.” and a former board member of the New Jersey Human Resource Planning Group,

Andy is a graduate of Morris County’s “Leadership Morris Program” and has held leadership roles in government as an elected councilman and public safety director in his community. He is a former member of the Executive Committee of the March of Dimes and past president of the Florham Park Jaycees. Andy holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from John Jay College in New York City.

Marie Tanzi
VP, Career Transition Services

Marie is the central point of contact within our outplacement practice, ensuring our clients' needs are met with a high degree of satisfaction. Since she joined AJO in 2001, Marie has become the force behind A.J. O’Connor Associates’ reputation for exceptional quality and highly personalized Career Transition Services.

Marie’s keen ability to connect with, and build strong relationships, ensures that every career transition program participant is matched with his/her ideal consultant. She is an astute and supportive team member whose focus is on building innovative programs while continuously improving performance. Under her leadership, AJO ensures the ongoing learning and development of the consulting team, while effectively managing and enhancing systems, data and people.

Marie brings a background of more than 20 years in Human Resources to AJO. Her extensive experience in Career Transition began with operating experience in planning and executing senior level transitions as part of Executive Human Resources at AT&T. During her tenure, Marie developed, coordinated, and executed the separation process for senior executives both domestically and internationally.

Marie holds a degree from City University of New York in Business Administration and a certification in Employee Relations Law and Employment Law from the Institute for Applied Management and Law (IAML).

Pam Grosicki, M.Ed.
VP, Marketing & Communications

Pam is a strategic, innovative leader who brings over 16 years experience in the human resource consulting field to her marketing and communications role with A.J. O’Connor Associates. Prior roles include product and technology development, marketing and sales support and implementation of strategic initiatives. As a former Human Resource executive, Pam led several talent acquisition and leadership development initiatives during her HR career.

Pam has worked in a broad range of industries within the U.S. and the U.K. including global, public and privately held organizations within the staffing, HR consulting, telecommunications, engineering, electronics/defense and financial services industries, as well as the public sector (U.K. national utility).

Pam holds a Masters in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University. Her undergraduate degree, in Business Administration, was earned at Greenwich University, London.

Mary O’Connor
VP, Finance and Administration

In her role at AJO, Mary manages our finance and administrative functions, including budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, facilities/asset management, payroll and benefits, and general office management. She leads the Administrative support team and is responsible for developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures. A priority in her role is ensuring that AJO employs the latest technologies for both internal and external clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Mary worked for Gemini Consulting, Inc. with responsibility for developing multi-million dollar business plans, performing global sales and P&L forecasting, and preparing management reports for use by the CFO and Officer ranks. Past work experience also includes financial roles at Sony Corporation and Thompson McKinnon Securities, Inc.

Mary holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

An avid runner, Mary has completed the Chicago, New York and Marine Corps. Marathons.

Oneida Cox Werger
Practice Leader, Team & Leadership Development

Oneida Werger brings extensive experience in accelerating individual performance and business growth within Fortune 100 & 500 companies to her role as Practice Leader for Executive Coaching, Team and Leadership Development at A. J. O’Connor Associates. With over 20 years of management, coaching and consulting experience, Oneida is recognized for developing and delivering programs in leadership, organizational development, change management, sales, diversity and retention. Noted accomplishments include managing 45 coaches and 21,683 coaching hours to deliver an 8-month coaching program for 2700 diverse financial services professionals achieving nationwide increase in sales and retention. She is also credited with developing a Diverse Recruiting Process and How-to-Recruit Guides for recruiting financial services professionals in diverse markets including: African American, American Chinese, Asian Indian, Hispanic, Korean, Vietnamese and Women.

Oneida is a member of the International Coaching Federation and continues education in the form of professional certifications including: Masterful Consulting, Coach University, Applied Creativity; the Simplex Method, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Implementing Change Methodology Total Quality & Team Development. Oneida earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Organizational Communication and Psychology from Western Kentucky University.
